The Awl Based on the eponymous webtoon written by Choi Kyu Suk, which in turn was based on an actual story that took place in July 2007 at one of the Emart stores, the drama tells the story of ordinary workers who quietly carry on their activities and finally come together to fight together as a difficult and unfair situation.
Lee Soo In is the kind of person who has to do the right thing no matter what. After being discharged from the army, he finds work in a large supermarket chain. One day, his boss tells him to fire the temporary store employees. Lee Soo In refuses to do so and decides to join the labor union. He and the temporary employees against unfair dismissals.
